Tecnofilati Srl was founded in 1995 thanks to the 30-year experience of Gruppo Tessile Abati. The company is specialized in the production of yarns with a high technological content. Following the Group policy, the company is further investing in the production of yarns for protective clothing, sportswear and clothing for the wearer’s well-being. Tecnofilati built a research laboratory inside its premises provided with the most advanced equipment in order to study and test its innovative fibres.
Developed in one of the most qualified laboratories in a project involving both scientific innovation and technological progress, Resistex® conductive yarns are the results of an experimental study in the research area concerning new types of performing yarns. This study has immediately gained worldwide visibility and was internationally recognized as excellent. Resistex® conductive yarns have been subjected to precised tests about pH, odor and toxic substances determination, therefore aToxicity test to humans and environment. As a result they have received the OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 (Class 1) certificate. This is the most acknowledgement to guarantee the consumer that certified products contain no health endangering substances for the closer skin contact (Class 1 also relates to clothing for babies and young children to age 2). OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 label also ensures that substances utilized in the work methodologies are non-injurious to environment and contain no CFC gas, that are responsible of environmental pollution.
Another company of Gruppo Tessile Abati is Abafil which was founded at the end of the 70’s and has so far specialized in the processing of discontinuous yarns. The company is cutting-edge in the manufacturing of technical articles in natural and synthetic fibres for the producers of zippers, ribbons, plastic bags and laces.
